Fantasy Hockey League
New for this season is the IES fantasy hockey league, it’s £5 to enter, which will be split between the club and the prize pool. Confirmation of 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize will be made once final entry numbers are known. The winner will be the manager who has selected the XI that has accumulated the most points over the season. You choose your team from the player list (link below) although you must stick to your generous £70m budget.
This is the first season of running the fantasy league, which is a great way of raising funds and improving club morale. If anyone has any suggestions for improving the fantasy league or criticisms then please speak to your captain.
The Basics
You pick 1 goalkeeper, 3 defenders, 3 midfielders and 3 forwards from the list plus a player from any position of your choice. Your players will score points for you in LEAGUE GAMES only across the season, based on the scoring system below. Player prices have been set on the basis of their potential scoring ability in this game (rather than their actual ability as an individual), however there are bound to be some misjudgements in this, so it’s down to you to spot the bargains!
