Our Juniors are the future of the club and we need more club members to help with coaching on Sunday mornings, this is your chance to give something back to the club which will help ensure the future of IESHC.

Knowledge of the game and basic skills & drills will benefit all who attend these Sunday session, even if you are only able turn up and help set out cones and represent the club to encourage these young players.

Suffolk Hockey Junior Academy Centre Revised Programme Due To Recent Weather

Please note the Suffolk JAC assessment session scheduled for this Sunday at Harleston Magpies HC are postponed due to the wintry weather. Assessment sessions for the under 14, under 15, under 16 and under 17’s have been rearranged for next Sunday 17th January. ….. However due to the second pitch at Harleston not being available between 10.00 and 12.00 on the 17th we have decided to delay the Under 13’s assessments until Sunday 24th January and we have moved the Under 14 Boys assessment ...

Dear Club and School colleague,

Please see attached details of Suffolk Hockey Junior Academy Programme which starts early in January.
Please can you read the information carefully and pass on the information to young people at your club or school you believe have the potential to attend the Junior Academy centre. (Previously county Hockey.)

IESHC Juniour Section Awarded BT Community Champions Grant

Ipswich - East Suffolk (IES) HC Junior Section has been awarded £500 by the BT Community Champions award scheme thanks to the voluntary work of Chris Hatch, a BT employee. Run by BT’s corporate responsibility unit, BT Community Champions awards BT people with funding on behalf of local community groups, charities and organisations where they work on a voluntary basis.
