Club Training (Last update: 23rd July 2011)

Outdoor Club training, during the 2011/2012 season, is organised as follows:

Ladies senior training (from age 14): Wednesday evenings 6.45 - 8.30pm at Copleston School, off Foxhall Road, Ipswich on the artificial pitch. (free to paid-up members), starting 7th September 2011.

Mens senior training (from age 14): Wednesday evenings 8.15 - 10pm at Copleston School, off Foxhall Road on the artificial pitch. (free to paid-up members), starting 7th September 2011.

Senior training is subject to a Christmas/New Year break and will cease for the season on the last Wednesday in March 2012 - unless there are 'significant' league slip games to play, when the training may be extended to the Wednesday before the last league slip game(s).

With 3 hours available for all Mens and Ladies senior club training per week, Ladies are requested to be warming up from 6.45pm for a prompt start on the pitch at 7.00pm. Similarly, men are requested to be warming up from 8:15pm for a prompt start on the pitch at 8.30pm.

Junior Boys & Girls training (age 6 - 14 approx): Sunday mornings 10.30am - 12.00 at Copleston School, off Britannia Road, Ipswich on the artificial pitch, starting 4th September 2011. (Charge, £1 per training session or per match, subject to review this season if costs rise). Some of the Junior sessions are devoted to age-group matches against other clubs and schools, which may mean the start time and finish time are changed. Refer also to the Club's dedicated Junior web site and also to the 'youth' page on this site, for further details.

Prospective Members are encouraged to come along to the Wednesday (senior Ladies and Men) or Sunday (junior) sessions to get acquainted with the Club and express an interest in joining. A call or mail to the Club Liaison Officer in advance would be welcome, so details can be taken in advance. Refer to: Chris Hatch - details below on this page.

* Please keep an eye on the club's web site, because information about training sessions is published from time to time. In particular, if training has to be cancelled for reasons of bad weather, it can only be broadcast in this way.
