- Men’s 2s won 1 – 0 away at Newmarket 1s
- Men’s 3s lost 0 – 5 away at North Norfolk 1s
- Men’s 4 won 3 – 2 home to Pelicans 3s.
- Women’s 1s lost 1 – 5 home to Harleston Magpies
- Women’s 2s won 7 – 1 IESHC 3s.
- Women’s 3s lost 1 – 7 IESHC 2s.
- Women’s 4s failed to raise a team.
2 – Junior section Sunday results (new Area League)
- U16G beat both Felixstowe and Harleston Magpies 1-0 in their triangular tournament at home
- U14B lost to Norwich Dragons 0-1 and to Ipswich 7 0-2 in their triangular tournament at home
- U14G drew 0-0 against Norwich Dragons and beat Harleston Magpies 1-0 in their triangular tournament away at Harleston.
There were many positives, as well as learning points, for all the junior teams, but mainly it was just great to see them back in competitive matches. For many in the U14s this was their first competition in over a year, and the first time playing 11 a side full pitch hockey. Thanks to the senior club for supporting with umpires and to all the coaches and parents for shouting from the sidelines!
Two teams of U12s will be taking part in a mixed hockey tournament at Ipswich High School this Sunday – good luck to the teams.
